About this service
A During Production Inspection (DUPRO) is conducted while manufacturing is still in progress. This inspection helps identify potential issues early, allowing factories to take immediate corrective action without significantly affecting the production schedule or shipment timeline.
What We Check
Using statistically valid AQL sampling procedures, our inspectors randomly select in-process and partially finished products to evaluate key quality checkpoints, including:
- Functionality and performance
- Durability and construction
- Overall appearance and workmanship
- Dimensions and compliance with specifications
When DUPRO Is Recommended
A During Production Inspection is especially valuable for:
- Large or high-value orders
- Tight delivery schedules
- New product launches
- First-time suppliers or new factories
- High-priority clients
- Situations where additional oversight is needed to ensure quality consistency
By addressing quality issues early, DUPRO reduces the risk of costly rework and helps maintain production efficiency
Follow-Up With Final Inspection
After production is completed and all goods are packed, a Final Random Inspection (FRI) is typically performed to confirm that the finished products meet acceptable quality standards. At this stage, the inspector verifies:
- Final quantity
- Shipping marks and labeling
- Carton condition and packaging details
- Color, logo, and appearance
- Measurements and product conformity
Typical DUPRO Checklist
A standard During Production Inspection includes checks for:
- Production progress and schedule compliance
- Material and component quality
- Workmanship consistency
- Semi-finished product quality
- On-site functional testing
- Packaging materials (if available)
- Compliance with customer specifications
